• Upona doesn't currently track usage through cookies. However, it does support embedding of content from 3rd parties such as YouTube & social apps. When stories with this content are viewed in the app, or you choose to permit cookies in the web UI, these services may choose to store cookies & track you.
• We reserve the right to create a future update which shows ads on stories with high numbers of views or on all stories from accounts with a high number of views. We may store cookies and use your personal data when choosing which ads to show you. A 3rd party service may scan your content to match appropriate ads for yourself / others.
• We will never sell your personal data to 3rd parties (unless Upona / Deep Cognition Ltd. is acquired by another entity).
• We may use your personal data in aggregate with the personal data of others to make content recommendations to others.
• Your public stories may be viewed by anyone.
• Your public stories may be listed on search engines.
• A moderator may view any of your content, at any time, to ensure it meets our content guidelines.
• We store your data on third party hosted services and systems (i.e. Upona is cloud hosted). This data could be stored in any jurisdiction.
• You can request the deletion of your account when it has no active subscription. All of your content will be deleted when your account is deleted. To request account deletion, use the option in: Overflow menu (three dots) > Account > Delete Account.
