These terms of service govern your use of Upona.

General information

• Upona does not currently charge for any of its services.
• We may choose to show you ads.
• We may choose to change our business model in the future and charge for certain services.
• We may delete or restrict access to your content at any time for any reason.
• We may suspend or delete your account at any time for any reason.
• We provide no guarantee that the service will remain available or that your data will continue to be stored.
• This software is copyright 2023, Deep Cognition Ltd.
• Deep Cognition Ltd. retains all ownership, right, title and interest in, copyright and all other intellectual property rights to and of the Software and all copies of it.
• All rights not specifically granted in this licence, including domestic and international copyrights, are reserved by Deep Cognition Ltd.
• The Software is provided to you on an "as is" basis, without any technical support or warranty of any kind including, without limitation, any warranty or condition of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
• LIMITATION OF LIABILITY DEEP COGNITION LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSS, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR THE LIKE, WHETHER BASED ON BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), PRODUCT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF DEEP COGNITION LTD. OR ITS REPRESENTATIVES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
• This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the U.K.

Your content

• You give us the licence to store, reproduce and modify any content you add to an Upona story in perpetuity. You give us the licence to share it with others through our service. If Upona / Deep Cognition Ltd. is acquired by another entity, that entity will gain this licence.
• You retain the intellectual property rights on any content you add to Upona.
• You can delete your content at any time. All of your content will be deleted when you or we delete your account.
• It may take up to 90 days to delete all copies of your content after you've instructed us to delete it.
• Content will not be deleted if your account has been referred to a law enforcement agency or where any other investigation is ongoing.

Restrictions

• You may create only one account.
• You may not create an account if we've suspended or deleted a previous account you owned.
• You may not create an account if you're restricted from doing so by applicable laws.
• You may not violate our content guidelines.
• If your content doesn't meet with our content guidelines, we may make it private, delete it, temporarily suspend your account, permanently suspend your account, or in extreme cases, report the content & your account details to law enforcement.
• You may not use Upona to share anything which is unlawful.
• You may not share anything which you don't have the necessary rights to share.
• You may not share anything which violates copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
• You may not use our service to send spam.
• You may not upload viruses or malicious code.
• You may not do anything to overburden our services or make them slower.
• You may not access our service programmatically or crawl it (except when obeying the robots.txt).
• You may not use the reporting feature to make false reports or overburden our support by making numerous similar reports.
